From the farmers market showcasing the best food and drink Aberdeenshire has to offer, to the wildlife and arts and crafts stalls, there is something for everyone at this year’s Countesswells Summer Festival.
The festival is a great chance for the general public to explore the vast green space and beautiful setting of the Countesswells development, as well as enjoy local food and drink and live music. While younger guests will be kept busy with face painting, creative plant pot decorating and an adventurous treasure hunt.
We’ve highlighted some of the businesses attending Countesswells’ brand-new summer festival below.
Satisfying caffeine lovers across the North-east, Symposium Coffee is one of Aberdeenshire’s most popular coffee outlets.
Symposium will be offering an extensive variety of hot drinks including espressos, lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, mochas, decaf coffees, hot chocolates and teas.
Located across Aberdeenshire, including Peterhead, Ellon and Fraserburgh, this local coffee specialist will be fuelling our guests for a great day ahead.
Savings Scotland’s Red Squirrels
You will have the chance to learn more about local wildlife and how to protect red squirrels, with the Savings Scotland’s Red Squirrel stalls. This charitable wildlife organisation is working with local communities across the country to ensure red squirrels will always be a part of Scotland’s special native wildlife.
There’s also the opportunity to adopt one of these unique creatures.
Having provided high quality meat to the Aberdeenshire and Mearns community since the 1920s, Bannerman’s will undoubtedly receive a warm welcome at the festival. Bannerman Butchers will be selling some of the finest steaks, pies, burgers and sausages in the North-east with visitors sure to enjoy their mouth-watering products.
We can’t wait to check out what delicious goodies Caramel Cakeaway has made for the summer festival. Make sure you taste some of the best local sweet treats including delicious cakes, tray bakes, fudges and take the opportunity to build your own cheesecake!
